Print Wikipedia in German at Import Projects, Berlin
I write to you from Berlin, where I am installing Print Wikipedia: from Aachen to Zylinderdruckpresse at Import Projects <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=4ab43d562a&e=7ab9e5e442> in Berlin. I will start uploading the 3406 volumes of this German version on May 28 and the show will stay open through July 2, 2016, during the Berlin Biennial. If you are in Berlin, join us May 28 or June 2nd when I will be in conversation with Olia Lialina and DiMoDa. Or follow @PrintWikipedia <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=c3b9e36b4b&e=7ab9e5e442> on Twitter.

This new version comes on the heels of an exhibition of the english version at Arizona State University co-presented by the Art Museum and the Library in the stacks directly across from the encyclopedias and reference books. I learned a lot about the project seeing it in that context. Here are the full set of photos <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=cc77e3f878&e=7ab9e5e442>.

175+ Art+Feminism events
This year's Art+Feminism Wikipedia Edit-a-thon was a big success! We brought together 2,500 participants in over 175 locations globally who created or improved 3,500 new articles. Vice did a good job covering the facts <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=625035cefc&e=7ab9e5e442> (with a photo of the Guerilla Girls in attendance!). The New Yorker really captured the feeling <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=7f3d4dae91&e=7ab9e5e442>. We are wrapping up our reflective work and about to start preparing for next year. Email us <mailto:info at art.plusfeminism.org> if you want to get involved next year.

Two sneak peaks
This summer I will be heading to the MacDowell Colony to work on a new project. I'm remaking Modern Times through online digital labor markets. Looking forward to some time in the woods. We'll see how I do with no wifi in my studio!

This fall I will install my long term project FDIC Insured <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=e19d607aff&e=7ab9e5e442> in an empty office near Wall Street. I am also completing a book and web archive <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=29e78068ac&e=7ab9e5e442> of the 500+ logos of banks that have failed since 2008. More on this soon, but check out The Art Newspaper <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=64f7b32f99&e=7ab9e5e442> for more info. And stay tuned for some summer programming in the lead up to the show.

Plus a few other things:
I gave a seminar in the MoMA Art + Practice <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=c216a88fa7&e=7ab9e5e442> series.
Denny Gallery will be representing me <http://mandiberg.us6.list-manage.com/track/click?u=14ddb0f81170cd5b9ad0c4ad6&id=e496783640&e=7ab9e5e442>; my next show will be a year from now.
The New York Arts Practicum starts again in June.
Thanks
A year ago I was making the final preparations for Print Wikipedia. A lot has happened, with that project, Art+Feminism, at CUNY, and other projects. I didn't do it alone. It wouldn't have happened without the contributions of Anna Harsanyi, Jonathan Kiritharan, Christopher Willauer, Ben Lerchin, Thomas Storey, and Taehee Whang in the many places and processes that get called a studio; partnerships with Elizabeth Denny, Molly Kurzius, and Jove Oliver in the spaces and processes outside of this studio; collaborations with Siân Evans and Sara Bodinson in feminism and Wikipedia; guidance from Sherry Millner, Steve Brier, Cindy Wong, and Ying Zhu at CUNY; and Jacqueline Mabey in these places and everywhere else.
