[Dancecult-l] Electronic music and arts festivals

no idea bout Robodock, but I am very interested in the outcomes of this
research.
to add to Kath's list:
http://www.aec.at/ ars electronica - probably one of the earlier
festivals engaging with electronic culture. Maybe less of a music rather
then arts festival.
Generally I see a problematic how to define the rules of selection,
every single one has its own scope and context. As Graham mentioned, the
choice of venues and the finance structure seems a defining element. Do
these to factors have a major influence onto the programme of the
festival? or rather indicate the nature of it?
back to Evan, are there trance festivals with these two factors (public
funding, urban/arts venues) - just wondering...
