Hi everyone, A very usefiul 'first start' list for general EDM studies (up to 2004) comes from Lou Winant's Curious Man site at, chapter: ATLANTIC APART:
THE LITERATURE ON HIP-HOP ANDTHE LITERATURE ON ELECTRONIC DANCE MUSIC.
