The main dossier entitled "Music silences and silencings: music, 
violence and everyday experiences" has been coordinated by Ana Maria 
Ochoa and features articles by Suzanne Cusick, Pablo Vila and Pablo Semán, 
Alejandra Cragnolini and Louise Meintjes, among others.
 
This issue also includes articles on rock semiotics, music and 
art in Andrei Tarkovski's movies, the relations between flamenco and rebetika, 
and the mysteries of Silvio Rodríguez's songs.
