Aloha,
Wederom vanuit de INURA lijst:
In Germany we have on the federal level three main interventions for
tenants:
- a subsidiy for small businesses that can be used for paying the rent
- a stop to evictions caused by the incapacity for paying rent. the
rents will be only postponed not reduced or cancelled and must be paid
within two years until June 2022 with an interest rate of four percent
- new applications for social transfer money (Hartz IV) will be approved
without regarding personal savings or without controlling for the size
of the appartment. access to rent support money (Wohngeld) will be
easier.
In Berlin the city has declared on March 24 2020
- the city owned housing companies
- will issue no rent increases
- debts will be negotiated individually
- no evictions
- these regulations appliy for business and housing tenants as well
- the city asks the private owners to act accordingly, but issues now
law so far.
Ciaoui, p+2D!
