'It just works!': Regional and Rural Consumer Understanding of Smart Technologies in North West New South Wales This Report outlines regional and rural consumer understandings of smart technologies and their applications in North West New South Wales, Australia. The Report draws on an evidence base from over 130 participants and 6 case studies including Dubbo, Wellington, Narromine, Peak Hill, and Gilgandra as well as 1 case study of Local Aboriginal Land Councils. The research was conducted by Dr. Holly Randell-Moon from the School of Indigenous Australian Studies at the Dubbo campus of Charles Sturt University, Australia, and Danielle Hynes, University of New South Wales. The project is funded by the Australian Communications Consumer Action Network (ACCAN). The report was launched by Regional Education Commissioner Fiona Nash at the Dubbo Campus on April 7th.
