Panel: Alternative circuits: film festivals as a practice of
subjectification
This panel explores the role of alternative film festivals as a space
for production of truth about individual subjects. How do they (re)shape
the ways in which individuals and collectives understand and act on
themselves and in relation to others? What is its contribution to
establishing means of governing conduct? Submissions are welcome on
these and related questions.
Proposals: 250 word description; brief bio with affiliation and contact
information
Deadline: Monday, August 15, 2011.
