At this symposium, we hope to address a range of issues that touch on matters of cinematic transnationalism, the national, the supra- and sub-national, composite film cultures, infrastructure (including production base, financing, capital, markets, co-production, policy), circulation (including distribution, diasporic channels, on-line channels, film festivals, but also migrations and resources), mode of address (format mutations, language, supranational aesthetics and narratives, but also identity and talent).
