We have another brief round-up notice detailing updates to the Chinese Film Festival Studies website (www.chinesefilmfeststudies.org). In the past month, we’ve added the following material:

NEWS: Karin Chien, founder of specialist distributor dGenerate Films, attended the China Independent Film festival in November, and posted a photo essay of her trip to the dGenerate website. We have linked to this photo essay in the new section for anyone who might be interested in viewing it.

FESTIVAL REPORTS: We also have a new festival report from Flora Lichaa, an original member of the network, on the Shadows Festival. This is a specialist film festival dedicated to independent Chinese cinema that takes place in Paris in November. This year was the 5th iteration of the event.
