GAFF Film Competition

Galway African Film Festival in partnership with MMBF Trust



** MMBF Best Short Award **



-£100 prize money for the best short film





Eligibility:

Open to African film-makers (incl. African Diaspora)



*How does it work?*

Any African Film Maker can submit a short film (either recently completed
or new) to this competition. Send your film to us (
heike at galwayafricanfilmfestival.org) and we will upload it onto our GAFF
Shorts Youtube Channel. Films will be shortlisted by us on the basis of
storyline, presentation and overall quality.

The Top 10 highest videos will then be open to public voting, the video
with most votes will be the overall winner.





Film Length:

All Short Films must be 10 minutes or less.



Deadline: April 31st



The online film festival would coincide with GAFF 2015 and public voting
will be open until May 30th. The winner will be informed within two weeks
following this deadline. All films will be kept online and made accessible
to other film festivals with credit given to GAFF, the MMBF and the
film-maker.



All film-makers must agree to their short film being made available
publicly.

All rights to the film will remain with the film-makers.
