Dear festival colleagues,
for those of you in the vicinity: there will be an interesting event taking place at University of Technology Sydney on April 5-6 that should be of interest to festival researchers and organizers. Along with a showcase of work by the Kinomatics group on creative industries analyses, there is an afternoon workshop specifically dedicated to film festival research on April 6.

You are warmly invited to the two-day symposium of our ground-breaking project. Hear from key scholars and industry members on how Kinomatics is transforming the study of culture.
The Kinomatics project uses both big and small data in imaginative ways to reveal new knowledge about creative industries such as the film and music sectors.
We will be meeting over two days – Thursday April 5 and Friday April 6 and we would love you to join us at any or all of the three sessions outlined below:
