Discovering/Uncovering. Navigating the Complexities of Screen<https://necs.org/conference>
The 2025 NECS conference, hosted by Lusófona University in Lisbon, invites scholars, researchers, and professionals to delve into the interconnected themes of Navigation, Discovery, and Journey. The conference seeks to investigate how these concepts shape and are shaped by film and media across various forms, including cinema, television, digital media, and immersive technologies. By centring on these themes, the NECS 2025 Conference aims to foster dialogue on both the historical and contemporary dimensions of cinematic and media journeys, from classical film narratives to cutting-edge technological experiences.
