Dear colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to my new article published last week at the occasion of the beginning of the Berlin Film Festival. In light of the Gaza-related polemics at the opening of the IDFA last November, I have analysed the history of the major European film festivals’ response to wars. The question in focus is if in 2024 they will confirm that the new war in the Middle East concerns us all. More about it here:
