Hi,
The “Allied Grounds” conference will take place on Oct. 5-7 at the Haus
der Demokratie und Menschenrechte in Berlin. To warm up for the event,
watch a video talk by Harsha Walia on internationalist and multiracial
workers struggles against eco-apartheid:

At the heart of the “Allied Grounds” conference are workshops that will
bring together scholars, activists, and cultural workers to explore and
construct the intersection of environmental and labor struggles from
multiple perspectives. To this end, the conference will offer five
different workshops: “Eco-Internationalism for All?”, “(Un)Working
Balkans”, “Jobs vs. Nature?”, “Working-Class Environmentalism”, and
“Dismantling Eco-Fascism”.
In order to create the conditions for creative processes, the organizers
of the conference have invited guests from 25 countries, including Sana
Ahmad, Nidzara Ahematova, Alistair Alexander, Sabrina Apitz, Dario
Azzelini, Lori Šramel Čebular, Angelina Davydova, Abiol Lual Deng, Antje

PS: The International Women* Space (IW*S) has been doing feminist,
anti-racist work for over ten years. They have created many spaces where
women* can speak out and advocate for their needs in a self-determined
way. Recently, they have hit a rough patch and are asking for support.
Any donation, no matter how small, one-time or regular, is greatly
appreciated and will go a long way in supporting their important work
and, in turn, the women* they work with as well. Take a look at the
details of their appeal for support and share it widely:
