<span style="font-size:18px;" class="">Plokta is slowly awakening from hibernation, dormant all through summer and autumn. This time last year, we were moving at full steam to launch the first edition of Plokta Festival. Unfortunately, as the first lockdown hit Amsterdam, the festival had to be cancelled just weeks before opening night. So instead Plokta rechanneled its energy towards launching a makeshift TV channel: PloktaTV. </span></p><p style="margin-left: 40px;" class="">
<span style="font-size:18px;" class="">So we caught the hang of being a broadcasting station. In April 2020, PloktaTV gathered <strong class="">1477</strong> viewers worldwide around the warm glow of their laptop screens, streaming <strong class="">41</strong> filmmakers, designers and artists, and <strong class="">1.113,99 GB</strong> to households worldwide. Now, a year on, it is still unsure if / how / when the festival can happen in meatspace (IRL).
