Save us from Dystopia, Save us from Idiocracy

Peak idiocracy. Americans are distracted by memecoins, NFTs, and “get-rich-quick” schemes while the real revolution in financial freedom—digital cash—is being ignored and suppressed. Even Bitcoin, once heralded as a tool for financial freedom, has been co-opted by the very system it was created to disrupt. Most Bitcoin users don’t even control their own keys, relying on custodial exchanges and ETFs, turning it into a fiat-tized mass surveillance system disguised as a decentralized currency. Bitcoin is no longer a tool for sovereignty; it has become a speculative asset controlled by centralized entities, betraying its original promise. 

It’s time to live up to your ideals. If Trump wants to make America great again, if RFK Jr. believes in liberty, if Vivek stands for free markets, and if Elon seeks a freer, more efficient world that maximizes human potential, you must champion open competition for cryptocurrencies and stop the chilling of the adoption and development of open-source, privacy-preserving tools. Otherwise, you betray the very principles you claim to uphold. Right now, the U.S. government is actively undermining these principles. Open-source privacy tools like TornadoCash and SamouraiWallet are being targeted, with developers accused of crimes for simply writing code that protects individuals’ privacy. Monero, the most effective tool for financial sovereignty, is being forced off centralized exchanges. Using the Bank Secrecy Act, the government is violating the fundamental rights of Americans to access these technologies and transact freely, eroding the freedoms America was built upon.

Digital cash is the cornerstone of individual freedom in the digital age. It embodies everything America was founded upon. To preserve our liberty in the Digital Age we must protect and promote the freedom to transact peer-to-peer, the right to privacy, the power to resist tyranny, and the ability to speak freely. Code is speech. Cash is speech. Without these freedoms, all others are at risk. Stop promoting distractions like Dogecoin and start advocating for tools that restore financial sovereignty to the people. These technologies—like Monero and other privacy-focused systems—allow individuals to transact freely, without surveillance or censorship. They protect the foundational liberties that make a free society possible. This is how we bring America back to its founding ideals. This is how we ensure America remains the beacon of freedom. A nation where free speech, free markets, and the right to privacy are not just preserved but celebrated. The future belongs to the country that embraces decentralization and innovation. By fostering privacy, liberty, and the freedom to transact, we can ensure America remains the freest and most prosperous nation on earth. Lead now, or history will remember you as part of the distraction that let freedom slip away and allowed digital tyranny to prevail. Save us from surveillance capitalism. Save us from dystopia. Save us from idiocracy.
