Dear Video Vortex Readers,

To mark 115 years since Wilhelm Röntgen sent his initial report after discovering the X-Ray: "On a new kind of ray: A preliminary communication" on December 28, 1895” (wikipedia). We are proud to announce that the the Xrayonline website is now live.

XrayOnline will be a hub for critically informed film, performance, sound and text based artworks using the internet. Launching in early 2011, through quarterly exhibitions it will support and catalogue projects using the web as material: By providing promotion, technical and critical support for selected and proposed projects. Through an experimental framework without technical, curatorial, physical and accessibility constraints and categorisation.

Happy Holidays and Enjoy the site.
The Xrayonline team
