Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Colleagues,

On May 16th 2012 the 3rd Deutsche Welle Media Dialogue will be organised
by Germany's public international broadcasting service Deutsche Welle in
cooperation with the Cologne University of Applied Sciences and the
University of Applied Sciences Bonn-Rhein-Sieg.

The next year's conference will focus on the media in the Arab world.
The media market(s) itself shall be analysed under structural, economic,
legal and political aspects as well as the influence of the (new) media
on the political development. Thus, one panel of the conference will
concern the legal and economic aspects, while a second panel will
focus on the social and political dimension.

As co-initiator and host of the conference the Media Law Research
Department at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences kindly invites
all media and political scientists, economists, academic lawyers as well
as journalists to present their work and research relevant to the above
mentioned topics.

Prosposals for a 15-minutes presentation or poster abstracts shall be
submitted via eMail no later than 25th January 2012.
