Hi there,

thnx a lot Marta. I suggested a possible Istanbul edition in 2014. In the region lots of diverse practices are coming together not only in the sense of what was or happened with/in Gezi Park, but also related with what is developing politically and culturally in the Mediterranean region and the Middle East. That could be one thing to start with. I think like most of us who participated in Vortex in the past, I enjoyed a lot the interdisciplinary character of it as well as its size - not to big as a conference and meeting. I am curious if we see Vortex 6 to 9 together, means the conferences after the publication of the second reader, what kind of resumes can we make and especially after Lüneburg what was kept open as themes.

All the best

Andreas

I am very excited to undertake this edition and to join the Video Vortex project. We are just taking up things so any suggestions for the next conference are welcome!
