Subject: [Air-L] Book Announcement: Netflix at the Nexus

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to draw your attention to a new edited collection, Netflix at the Nexus: Content, Practice, and Production in the Age of Streaming Television, now available from Peter Lang. This book, edited by myself and Amber Buck, features work from a number of AoIR members, including Annette Markham, Fabio Giglietto, Jessica Ford, and other international scholars.

As a whole, the collection examines Netflix?s broad impact on technology and television from multiple perspectives, including the interface, the content, and user experiences. Chapters by leading international scholars in television and internet studies provide a transnational perspective on Netflix?s changing role in the media landscape.

You can find more information on the collection at Peter Lang's website: https://www.peterlang.com/view/title/69620?format=HC <https://www.peterlang.com/view/title/69620?format=HC>

Thanks,

Theo Plothe
