<p>MINA, the Mobile Innovation Network and Association, is the longest-running film festival dedicated to celebrating mobile and smartphone filmmaking internationally, creating connections between filmmakers, communities, and the creative industries. </p>
<p>In its 12th edition, MINA is pleased to announce a new collaboration with the Swinburne University of Technology and Australian Environments on Screen to fund <b>six grants of $2500 each</b> for mobile screen productions interacting with Australian environments to produce novel and challenging perspectives on transforming relationships between humans and the environment.</p>
<p>The works will be featured as a part of MINA's 2023 program of public screening of smartphone, mobile and pocket films in Melbourne, Australia at ACMI, national museum of screen culture (24th November 2023), in Hanzhou at Zhejiang University, China (16th -17th December 2023), in Dhaka at Daffodil International University (February 2024) and internationally via Urban Screen TV.</p>
<p>The completed mobile video or smartphone film (5 min max) should be accompanied by a short piece outlining the creative process either as written or an audio-visual (2 min max) component.</p>
