Hello everyone!

I'm enjoying reading all of your intros (just as I've enjoyed reading
many of your books and papers and blogs and tweets!) Here is mine.

My research concerns the relationship between telecom infrastructures
and popular/political cultures, from grassroots ham radio networks to
big money social media sites. I previously wrote a dissertation on the
history of dial-up BBSing in North America and am currently working on
book about Minitel with Julien Mailland from IU/Bloomington.
