Are you conducting groundbreaking research in the field of Internet or Web history? Then the newly established 'Internet Histories Early Career Researcher Award' may be something for you.

We invite any interested early career researchers (masters students, doctoral students, and post-doctoral researchers) to send us an original article, between 6,000 and 8,000 words, by 15 October 2019.

All selected articles will be published in a special issue of the journal Internet Histories in the second half of 2020 and also automatically be nominated for the “Internet Histories Early Career Researcher” Award, which carries a prize of 500 euros.

The jury of this Award is composed of the following members of the international Editorial Board of Internet Histories:

  * Janet Abbate, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, USA
  * Kevin Driscoll, University of Virginia, USA
  * Greg Elmer, Ryerson University, Canada
