Dear all,

Document Festival is Scotland’s international human rights documentary film festival. The festival opens this Thursday and its programme contains an exciting and diverse range of screenings, discussions and performances. The full programme is available at the festival's website: http://www.documentfilmfestival.org/

Of particular note is a rare opportunity to watch La Commune (Paris, 1871), Peter Watkins’ extraordinary six-hour film about the Paris Commune, on the big screen.

Glasgow Glam Rock Dialogues: 3 – Commune, a dialogic performance, which responds to the issues and themes raised in La Commune (Paris, 1871), takes place the following day.
