<unlike-us> billions: new email list on the impact of social media and big digital networks

Dear Geert,

More and more big international social networks like Facebook are 
replaced by private local social networks like Hoplr and Postbuzz. They 
typically lock up users in neighbourhood enclaves. Their services are 
differentiated. Hoplr offers 4 modules to city governments, intercity 
services and project developers: communication, citizen participation, 
insights, community work & care.

I'm starting to analyse them here in Belgium. Hoplr is present in 
Brussels (117 neighbourhoods), Brugge (9 neighourhoods), Ghent (44 
neighbourhoods), Antwerp and some smaller cities. They also roll out in 
smaller municipalities and are expanding to  the Netherlands.

Since I live in Ghent, I went undercover more than a year ago, as an 
ambassador (community manager) until they threw me out. I wrote my first
