Hi Clarissa:

On the NYFF there is e.g.:

Hamid, Rahul (2009). “From Urban Bohemia to Euro Glamour: The Establishment
and Early Years of the New York Film Festival.” Film Festival Yearbook 1:
The Festival Circuit. Eds. Dina Iordanova, and Ragan Rhyne. St. Andrews: St.
Andrews Film Studies. pp. 67–81.

And you probably found material on women's Film festivals already right?
They are listed here:

You can search the FFRN bibliography and the entire site with the right-hand
search box at www.filmfestivalresearch.org

Anything else you find, that's not on the bibliography listed yet, please
forward on. So that others benefit from your finds as well. Thanks.

Hello again,

Does any one know of anything written about the New York Film Festival? I'm
looking for stuff on its founding, early history and I'm especially
interested in the 1969 one. Any one know any articles or books on it? I've
had no luck and I can't believe nothing has been written on it!

Clarissa Jacob
