[Filmfestivalresearch] festivals and data use/sharing

Hi,

I'm working on research on how film festivals use, manage, and share data. One of my questions is about the existence of data sharing and collaborative networks that integrate information across the festival circuit. I'm wondering if any of you know of specific data networks (aside from imdb) that would serve the purpose of, for example, a sort of union catalog of films that appear in festivals each year. Any other insights or articles/books about how festivals are using data to grow or manage operations would be welcome. Thanks!
