Dear all, 

Through the documentary workgroup of NECS (the European Network for Cinema and Media Studies) we are organizing one pre-constituted panel related to documentary and film festivals and we need 2 more panelists or 1 panelist and 1 respondent willing to discus this topics.The papers already included propose aesthetic/narrative analysis of documentary forms in the boundaries of the genre and experimental film in the festival realm, as well as in new exhibition platforms (like the videoinstallations in museums).If you want to propose a paper on this topic or be a respondent, please send your abstract, bio and 5 bibliographic references to aida_vallejo at yahoo.es before next Wednesday, January 25.

PLEASE, NOTE THE FOLLOWING RESTRICTIONS for the participation in NECS 2017:

Conference participants may deliver one paper and may only serve in a MAXIMUM two capacities:

    Deliver a paper and serve as a chair of either a panel or a workshop
    Deliver a paper and participate in a workshop
    Deliver a paper and serve as a respondent on another panel
    Chair a workshop and serve as a respondent on a panel
    Chair a panel and participate in a workshop

For all submissions (panel, paper and workshop) please note the maximum wordcount:

    Abstract: max. 300 words
    Short bio: max. 150 words
    Bib. references: max. 200 words

Every panel must have 3 presenters + 1 respondent + 1 chair or 4 presenters + 1 chair.
