The Humanities Research Institute (HRI) and the Faculty of Media, Art,
and Performance (MAP) at the University of Regina are excited to
announce the upcoming international event, Transnational Screen Media
Practices: Safeguarding Cultural Heritage Symposium, to be held
virtually from June 24 to 26, 2021, via ZOOM. 
MEET FILMMAKERS and FILM FESTIVAL DIRECTORS FROM MEXICO, MOROCCO,
BRAZIL, CANADA, US
The HRI Barbara Powell Lecture and keynote address, “Revitalisation de
la langue Amazighe/ Revitalization of the Amazigh Language” will be
presented LIVE in French via Zoom by the distinguished professor, Dr.
Ahmed Boukouss, who is the Recteur at Institut Royal de la Culture
Amazighe, Rabat, Morocco, on Thursday, June 24th at 10am (CST). 
Simultaneous French-English interpretation will be available.
