<unlike-us> Cfp: Conference on Journalism and Platforms, Toulouse, January 2019 (reminder)

Dear colleagues,

this is a reminder for the Call of Papers for the conference "Journalism and Platforms" that we're organising in Toulouse, France, on January 23-25 2019.

In particular, the conference aims to study the impact of Google, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, Apple News and others on journalistic practices, on editorial and business strategies of publishers, on the nature and form of news and on audiences. Proposals will analyse socio-economic, technical, legal and political dimensions of the relations between media and platforms.


Oral presentations and proposals can be in English but will be no translation service will be available. So a minimum level of comperehension in French is necessary for participation.


A special issue of the Journal Sur le journalisme - About Journalism will be edited after the conference with papers in French, English, Portuguese and Spanish.



Proposals should be sent until July 2, 2018  to:     lerass.jep2019 at iut-tlse3.fr

Acceptance will be notified by October 17, 2018.
