About Inc-synthesis	English (USA)
Welcome to , the central email list of the Institute of Network Cultures. This list replaces various older lists such as Video Vortex (on the politics and aesthetics of online video) re-search (Society of the Query), Unlike Us (on social media alternatives), Critical Point of View (Wikipedia research) and MoneyLab (on democratization of digital money/revenue models for the arts). This open list has three objectives: 1. To inform the wider net community about INC projects and activities. 2. To foster debates about net criticism, tactical media and research into critical network cultures from multiple perspectives such as design and the arts, activism and research. 3. To create links between different INC research fields that were previous running as different projects about online video, crypto currencies, search and social media. The name 'synthesis' expresses a desire to overcome different disciplines, fields and scenes in order to strengthen the critical forces in arts, tech and society. Using Inc-synthesis
To post a message to all the list members, send email to inc-synthesis@listcultures.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Inc-synthesis
Subscribe to Inc-synthesis by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members.
