As has been announced previously, Glasgow will host the Radical Film
Network festival and unconference over the 2016 May Day holiday weekend
(29 April to 2 May). This unique and innovative constellation of events
brings together the collective efforts of activists, academics, and
cultural workers from over twenty Scottish-based organisations engaged
with radical film culture.

The programme for the festival is now available online at
http://rfnscotland.org/festival/. The festival will feature over 30
different events throughout Glasgow, as well as satellite screenings
across Scotland. You can also follow our Facebook page [1]for updates
about festival events.

The unconference - a radical reworking of the academic conference - will
take place on the Saturday and Sunday (April 30th - May 1st). The
unconference is a space for people involved in radical film culture to
meet up, share knowledge and materials, and reflect on their practice in
connection to the wide variety of events taking place during the
weekend. Researchers, filmmakers, film exhibitors, and activists are
invited to join the discussions taking place in four breakout rooms and
a central resource space. Everyone is welcome as an active participant,
but you are asked to register at http://rfnglasgow.info/ where you will
also be able to post information about your projects or films, and to
make a contribution towards the running costs on a pay-what-you-can
basis.

We look forward to seeing you in Glasgow!
